Title: FIS Developer

Location: Remote (India) (overlap with EST hours)

Key Responsibilities

● Design, program, debug, and modify software enhancements in the FIS Profile Core

Product

● Understand business requirements, read existing FIS Profile configurations, and perform

custom development

● Create new code using FIS Profile Scripting language (PSL) and modify or build new

custom procedures

● Access core FIS code through GT.M database and execute various commands for view,

edit, and delete functions

● Interact with product managers, users, and engineering groups to define requirements

and technical specifications

● Guide FIS solution implementation and participate in software design meetings

● Coordinate and manage overall delivery working with different teams (Business, QA,

PM, etc.)

● Strong knowledge and hands-on experience with FIS Profile Tool and core banking

platform

● Proficiency in MUMPS/PSL programming language

● Experience with FIS Database (MUMPS) and GT.M database setup

Qualifications Required:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field
  • 6+ years programming experience in Profile/PSL
  • Our banking core stack is Profile/PSL, GT.M/MUMPS, C, Python, Linux on AWS infrastructure and we run on Kubernetes in a service oriented architecture with over 100 services in production
  • A proven understanding of hierarchical database and their structures (GT.M)
  • Strong US banking domain expertise on areas such as product customizations, account relationships, ACH, debit card processing, regulations and compliance.
  • Experience working on a SOA or integrating to a microservice-based application.
  • Willingness to roll up your sleeves, collaborate with others and get stuff done
  • Solid sense of responsibility; driving a project from inception to completion
  • Affinity for solving problems and shipping impactful features, not polishing perfect code or architecture
  • Experience working in a collaborative coding environment, refining designs together, working through code reviews and managing pull requests

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹100, ₹300,000.00 per month
