Job Title: FIS Developer

Location: Remote (India)

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, program, debug, and modify software enhancements in the FIS Profile Core Product.
  • Understand business requirements, review existing FIS Profile configurations, and perform custom development.
  • Create new code using FIS Profile Scripting Language (PSL) and modify/build new custom procedures.
  • Access core FIS code through GT.M database and execute commands (view, edit, delete).
  • Collaborate with product managers, users, and engineering groups to define requirements and technical specifications.
  • Guide FIS solution implementation and participate in software design meetings.
  • Coordinate delivery with cross-functional teams (Business, QA, PM, etc.).
  • Work hands-on with FIS Profile Tool and core banking platform.
  • Apply proficiency in MUMPS/PSL programming language.
  • Manage FIS Database (MUMPS) and GT.M database setup.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field.
  • 6+ years programming experience in Profile/PSL.
  • Strong knowledge of hierarchical databases (GT.M).
  • Hands-on experience with FIS Profile/PSL, GT.M/MUMPS, C, Python, Linux on AWS infrastructure.
  • Experience working with Kubernetes in a service-oriented architecture (SOA).
  • Strong US banking domain expertise (account relationships, ACH, debit card processing, product customizations, compliance, regulations).
  • Familiarity with microservice-based applications.
  • Ability to drive projects from inception to completion with ownership and responsibility.
  • Problem-solving mindset with a focus on impactful feature delivery.
  • Experience in collaborative coding environments (code reviews, pull requests, design refinements).

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹200, ₹300,000.00 per month
