We are a dynamic and growing education and training provider in the UK committed to excellence, innovation, and supporting our learners and staff alike. We are seeking an experienced and proactive HR Officer with strong IT and administrative skills to join our team.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end HR operations, including recruitment, onboarding, payroll coordination, employee records, and performance tracking.
- Ensure compliance with HR policies, safeguarding standards, and employment legislation.
- Support senior management in policy implementation, staff development, and organisational planning.
- Maintain and update HR databases, digital files, and reporting systems with accuracy.
- Use HR software and IT tools (e.g., MS Office, HRIS, online portals) to streamline HR processes.
- Assist with audits, inspections, and reporting to external agencies when required.
- Contribute to promoting equality, diversity, and inclusion across the organisation.
Essential Skills & Experience
- Proven experience in a Human Resources role (minimum 2–3 years preferred).
- Strong knowledge of HR best practices and UK employment law.
- Excellent IT proficiency, including Excel, database management, and HR software.
- Exceptional communication, organisation, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism and discretion.
Desirable
- Experience working within the education, training, or apprenticeship sector.
- Familiarity with safeguarding and Ofsted requirements.
- CIPD qualification or equivalent (or working towards one).
