Job Description:

Responsibilities:

  1. Conduct outbound calls to potential customers from a curated list, focusing on online UG/PG/MBA programs.
  2. Introduce and clearly articulate the benefits of College Gyan's offerings and services to prospective students.
  3. Utilize active listening to assess customer needs and provide tailored product information.
  4. Address customer inquiries, resolve objections, and handle concerns professionally and knowledgeably.
  5. Maintain precise records of customer interactions within the CRM system.
  6. Meet or exceed daily, weekly, and monthly call targets.
  7. Follow up with leads who have shown interest but have not yet enrolled.
  8. Stay informed about product knowledge, market trends, and competitor offerings to effectively communicate benefits.
  9. Collaborate with the sales team to generate qualified leads and opportunities for further engagement.
  10. Engage in ongoing training and development to enhance sales techniques and product knowledge.
  11. Mentor and train junior telemarketing executives, providing guidance on best practices and effective sales techniques.
  12. Monitor team performance, providing feedback and support to help achieve collective goals.

Requirements:

  1. 2-5 years of experience in education telemarketing or a related field, particularly focused on online UG/PG/MBA programs.
  2. Strong verbal communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with potential customers.
  3. Proven ability to work in a target-driven environment with a results-oriented mindset.
  4. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  5. Proficient in using CRM software and related tools.
  6. Self-motivated, energetic, and a positive attitude with the adaptability to handle rejection professionally.
  7. In-depth knowledge of the online education landscape, particularly UG/PG/MBA programs.
  8. Bachelor's degree in a relevant field preferred; additional certifications in sales or marketing are a plus.
  9. Previous experience in team handling or mentoring sales executives is highly desirable.
