Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Admission Counselor with a proven track record in promoting and selling PGDM (Post Graduate Diploma in Management) programs. As an Admission Counselor, you will be responsible for guiding and assisting prospective students through the admission process, promoting our PGDM programs, and achieving enrollment targets. Responsibilities:
1. Conduct proactive outreach to potential students through various channels, including phone calls, emails, social media, and in-person interactions.
2. Build and maintain relationships with prospective students, providing accurate and detailed information about our PGDM programs and answering their inquiries.
3. Guide prospective students through the entire admission process, including application submission, document verification, and enrollment.
4. Conduct one-on-one consultations with prospective students, assessing their eligibility and suitability for our PGDM programs.
5. Meet or exceed individual and team enrollment targets by actively promoting PGDM programs and converting leads into enrolled students.
6. Stay updated on industry trends, competitor programs, and market demands to identify opportunities for program improvement and adjust recruitment strategies accordingly.
7. Represent the institution at educational fairs, conferences, and other events to generate leads and promote the PGDM programs.
8. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of student interactions, applications, and admissions data.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field
- Proven experience as an Admission Counselor or similar role, with a focus on selling PGDM programs.
- Strong understanding of the higher education landscape and the admissions process for PGDM programs.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and establish trust with prospective students.
- Demonstrated skills, including lead conversion, negotiation, and closing deals.
- Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in using CRM software and other relevant tools to manage leads and track progress.
Experience in the field of business or management education is highly desirable.
