Reporting To: Operations Head / Managing Director
Experience Required: 12–15 years in manufacturing/plant operations
Education: B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical/Industrial/Production Engineering or equivalent
* Candidate should be ready to join in 1 month max
* Strong Experience in handling Factory Operations / staff management
* Strong Leadership & communication skills
* Candidate preferably from Mumbai location only
* Exposure to Manufacturing Industry is must.
Job Purpose:To oversee all daily operations of the plant from production and manufacturing to
ensuring policies and procedures are followed. The Factory Manager is responsible for developing
processes that will maximize safety, quality, productivity, and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
Production Management:
o Plan, organize, and control production to ensure that goods are produced efficiently, on
time, and meet quality standards.
o Monitor production schedules, workflow, and processes.
o Optimize resources (manpower, machines, and materials) for best output.
Team Supervision:
o Lead and supervise production staff and shift supervisors.
o Ensure compliance with company policies, safety regulations, and labor laws.
o Identify training needs and support employee development.
Quality Control:
o Ensure quality assurance protocols are followed.
o Implement continuous improvement initiatives to reduce defects and increase customer
satisfaction.
Maintenance & Safety:
o Coordinate with maintenance teams to ensure proper functioning of machines.
o Ensure all safety procedures are strictly followed and reported.
Inventory & Material Management:
o Monitor inventory levels and ensure timely procurement of raw materials.
o Coordinate with procurement and warehouse teams.
Cost Control:
o Control production costs and improve profitability.
o Identify and implement cost-saving measures.
Reporting & Compliance:
o Maintain production reports and MIS.
o Ensure all statutory and regulatory compliances related to plant operations.
Key Skills & Competencies:
Excellent problem-solving and decision-making ability
Good knowledge of manufacturing processes and safety standards
Proficient in MS Office and ERP systems
Strong communication and organizational skills
Preferred Industries: Manufacturing, Engineering, Automotive.
