Role & responsibilities

  1. Installation

  2. Install new lift and escalator systems according to technical drawings and manufacturer specifications.

  3. Assemble lift components such as motors, control panels, wiring, and safety devices.

  4. Ensure installations comply with local building and safety codes.

  5. Maintenance

  6. Conduct routine preventive maintenance to ensure smooth and safe operation.

  7. Lubricate moving parts, adjust cables, replace worn components, and test systems for performance.

  8. Maintain accurate service records and maintenance logs.

  9. Repairs & Troubleshooting

  10. Diagnose faults, mechanical failures, or electrical malfunctions.

  11. Replace or repair defective parts, including doors, motors, and control systems.

  12. Respond to emergency breakdowns and restore lift service promptly.

  13. Testing & Inspection

  14. Perform safety inspections and operational tests in compliance with regulations.

  15. Calibrate and test emergency systems, brakes, and alarms.

  16. Prepare reports on system condition and recommend necessary upgrades or replacements.

  17. Safety & Compliance

  18. Follow safety procedures and regulations (e.g., local electrical codes, occupational safety standards).

  19. Ensure all lift systems meet performance and safety standards.

  20. Report any hazards or safety violations to supervisors or authorities.

  21. Customer Service & Communication

  22. Communicate with clients or building managers about issues, repairs, and maintenance schedules.

  23. Provide technical advice or training to users on proper lift operation.

  24. Documentation

  25. Maintain detailed records of service activities, parts used, and system performance.

  26. Prepare technical reports and maintenance documentation for regulatory compliance.
