Location: Bangalore (On-site) | Mon–Sat

Experience: 3–6 Years | CTC: Best in Industry

Unacademy
is looking for an experienced and strategic
YouTube Manager (K12 + IIT JEE)
to lead the growth of our school-focused and competitive exam-focused channels.

Candidates with prior experience handling
K12, CBSE, ICSE, State Boards, or IIT JEE-focused YouTube channels
will be given preference.

Only candidates from EdTech or education-focused YouTube backgrounds will be considered.


Role Overview

As a YouTube Manager – K12 + IIT JEE, you'll be responsible for scaling Unacademy's YouTube presence across
school categories (Classes 6–12)
as well as
IIT JEE preparation channels
. You'll drive content strategy, engagement, SEO, analytics, and team coordination to maximize student learning and retention.


Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute strategies for
    K12 categories (Classes 6–12, CBSE, ICSE, State Boards)
    and
    IIT JEE exam prep channels
    .
  • Own end-to-end content lifecycle: planning, scheduling, publishing, performance tracking.
  • Optimize videos for SEO — titles, descriptions, tags, thumbnails, watch time.
  • Analyze audience behavior, retention, CTR, and engagement trends.
  • Collaborate with educators, content, and creative teams.
  • Drive A/B testing for thumbnails and content formats.
  • Stay updated on YouTube algorithm changes and EdTech content trends.
  • Ensure quality, consistency, and student-centric viewer experience.


Preferred Candidate Profile

  • Minimum 3–4 years of YouTube channel management.
  • Mandatory experience in
    K12 / school-level education content or IIT JEE exam prep content
    .
  • Strong grasp of YouTube Studio, Analytics, SEO, and growth strategies.
  • Proven ability to manage educators and work cross-functionally.
  • Experience in team coordination, content pipeline management, and real-time publishing.
  • Strategic, creative, and data-driven approach.
