We are looking for a seasoned HR professional to lead the Human Resources and Industrial Relations (HR & IR) function at our manufacturing plant in Uttarakhand. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing labor relations, compliance, HR operations, and employee engagement, ensuring a harmonious and productive work environment.

Key Responsibilities:

o Industrial Relations (IR):

  • Maintain a harmonious relationship with labor unions and workers
  • Lead negotiations for long-term settlements with unions
  • Handle disciplinary actions, grievance redressal, and legal issues
  • Liaison with government departments, labor commissioners, and statutory authorities
  • Ensure 100% compliance with all applicable labor laws (Factories Act, ID Act, etc.)

o Human Resources (HR):

  • Oversee end-to-end plant HR operations including recruitment, onboarding, and exit processes
  • Drive employee engagement, retention, and welfare programs at the plant level
  • Implement performance management systems and training & development programs
  • Ensure smooth payroll operations and HRMS data management
  • Manage contract labor and third-party manpower efficiently

o Compliance & Audit:

  • Ensure statutory compliance with PF, ESIC, labor laws, and factory laws
  • Prepare and manage internal and external HR audits
  • Monitor adherence to company policies and labor regulations

Desired Candidate Profile:

  • MBA/MSW in HR or equivalent degree from a reputed institute
  • 1218 years of experience in Plant HR & IR roles in a manufacturing setup
  • Proven experience in union handling, labor law compliance, and plant HR operations
  • Strong interpersonal, negotiation, and leadership skills
  • Knowledge of local language (Hindi) is a must
