Job Title: Fashion Assistant Location: Bangalore Reports to: Store Manager / Fashion ConsultantJob Summary: The Fashion Assistant is responsible for providing exceptional customer service and supporting the store's overall operations. This includes assisting customers in selecting outfits, keeping up with current trends, maintaining store appearance, and ensuring product displays align with brand standards.Key Responsibilities:
  1. Customer Service:
  • Greet and welcome customers warmly, creating a positive shopping experience.
  • Understand customer needs and offer style advice, suggesting outfits or individual items based on personal style, trends, and occasions.
  • Respond to customer inquiries about products, sizes, and availability, ensuring each guest leaves satisfied.
  1. Product Knowledge:
  • Stay up-to-date with new arrivals, fashion trends, and current promotions.
  • Maintain a strong understanding of apparel products, including materials, sizing, and styling options.
  • Offer in-depth knowledge about clothing care, brand uniqueness, and fashion compatibility.
  1. Visual Merchandising Support:
  • Assist in creating eye-catching product displays and ensure that the floor layout remains organized and attractive.
  • Monitor fitting rooms and assist customers with outfit trials, offering style advice as needed.
  • Maintain standards for product presentation and cleanliness, restocking items as necessary.
  1. Sales Assistance:
  • Achieve individual and store sales goals by upselling and cross-selling products effectively.
  • Process transactions accurately and handle returns or exchanges according to store policies.
  • Track customer preferences to ensure personalized recommendations and repeat business.
  1. Store Maintenance:
  • Ensure a tidy store environment by organizing merchandise, folding clothes, and keeping fitting areas neat.
  • Participate in inventory management and report discrepancies or stock issues.
  • Assist with opening, closing, and daily operational tasks as needed.
Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Passion for fashion, styling, and retail.
  • Previous experience in a retail or customer-facing role (preferred).
  • Strong interpersonal skills, with an ability to connect with diverse customers.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
Skills:
  • Knowledge of current fashion trends and styling.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
  • Attention to detail with an eye for visual merchandising.
