Planner – Machine Assembly
Job Objective
Develop and implement daily & weekly production plans of Tableting machine and Proditec machine section to maximise the use of the organisation's resources and meet established production schedules, volume, cost.
Primary Responsibilities
Strategic and planning

  • Develop daily & weekly production plan for Tableting & Proditec machines in line with monthly plan,

Functional
Core

  • Carry out backward planning for all activities according to planned dispatch dates.
  • Execute daily planned activities

Internal process

  • Attend CRM to finalise plan dates for milestone activities,
  • Run MRP and release timely PRs to purchase & production orders to machine shop,
  • Publish COOIS report on timely basis,
  • Follow up with purchase for inward of timely material as per planned dates,
  • Follow up with machine shop for timely part availability as per planned dates,
  • Support plating shop in deciding daily priorities,
  • Allocate material & release timely pick lists to stores,
  • Work with stores for timely material issuance to production line,
  • Work with production team to meet daily output,
  • Prepare dispatch plan and work with CFT to arrange for dispatches,
  • Publish updated production planning file on daily basis.
  • Consolidate challenges reported on production line and take review with cross function teams on daily basis,
  • Execute actions as decided in ECN meeting,

  • Inventory levels,
  • Number of quality issues on account of ECN,
  • On time MRP run,
  • On time pick list release,
