Job Description:

We have an urgent opening for the position of Derivatives Analyst for a reputed Industry for Navi Mumbai(Vashi) location.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Market Analysis: Conduct in-depth research and analysis of financial markets, economic indicators, and various asset classes to identify potential trading opportunities.
  • Trade Execution: Execute trades involving derivatives instruments, such as options, futures, swaps, and other complex financial products, based on market analysis and client requirements.
  • Risk Management: Develop and implement risk management strategies to protect against potential losses and manage exposure to market fluctuations.
  • Portfolio Management: Manage derivative trading portfolios for clients or the organization,ensuring proper diversification and adherence to investment objectives.
  • Trade Monitoring: Continuously monitor market movements and positions to make timely adjustments to trading strategies.
  • Client Communication: Communicate with clients, providing them with market insights, updates on trades, and performance reports.
  • Compliance and Regulation: Adhere to relevant financial regulations and compliance policies while executing trades and managing client portfolios.
  • Performance Reporting: Prepare and present performance reports and trading results to clients or management.
  • Financial Modeling: Utilize financial models and quantitative analysis techniques to assess risk and evaluate potential trading strategies.
  • Technology Utilization: Leverage trading platforms, algorithmic trading tools, and market data systems to optimize trading efficiency.
  • Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, brokers, and other relevant stakeholders.
  • Continuous Learning: Stay updated with industry trends, new financial products, and market developments to enhance trading strategies.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, or a related field. Advanced degrees or relevant certifications (e.g., CFA, FRM,NISM) are advantageous.
  • Proven experience as a Derivative Trader or in a related trading role within the financial industry.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of derivatives instruments and financial markets.
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
  • Proficiency in using trading platforms and market analysis tools.
  • Excellent decision-making abilities and the capacity to work well under pressure.
  • Effective communication and presentation skills to interact with clients and colleagues.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic trading environment.
  • Risk management expertise and the ability to manage large trading portfolios effectively.
  • Ethical conduct and compliance with financial regulations and industry best practices.
