Job Summary:

The Assistant F&B Manager is responsible for supporting the Food & Beverage Manager in overseeing daily operations of all food and beverage outlets. This includes maintaining high standards of service, ensuring customer satisfaction, managing staff, controlling costs, and supporting the strategic goals of the department.

Key Responsibilities:Operational Oversight:

  • Assist in managing the daily operations of restaurants, bars, banquets, and in-room dining (as applicable).
  • Ensure smooth and efficient service that meets the company's quality and hygiene standards.
  • Monitor inventory, order supplies, and ensure cost-effective purchasing and stock control.

Customer Service:

  • Handle guest concerns and complaints professionally, ensuring high customer satisfaction.
  • Maintain a visible presence in F&B outlets to interact with guests and ensure a consistent quality experience.

Team Management:

  • Supervise and support F&B team members, including servers, bartenders, hosts, and stewards.
  • Assist in scheduling, training, and performance evaluations of F&B staff.
  • Ensure team members adhere to company policies, grooming standards, and service procedures.

Financial Accountability:

  • Support the F&B Manager in achieving budgetary and profitability targets.
  • Monitor sales and expenses, and suggest improvements for better cost control and revenue generation.

Compliance & Hygiene:

  • Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and hygiene regulations (local, state, and company).
  • Support the implementation of SOPs, HACCP guidelines, and food safety standards.

Events & Promotions:

  • Assist in coordinating and executing special events, banquets, and promotions.
  • Provide input on menu planning and seasonal offerings in collaboration with chefs and marketing.

Key Requirements:

  • Education: Diploma/Degree in Hotel Management, Hospitality, or related field.
  • Experience: 2–4 years in F&B operations, with at least 1 year in a supervisory or assistant managerial role.
  • Skills:
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
  • Knowledge of POS systems and F&B software.
  • Attention to detail and ability to multitask.
  • Language: Proficiency in English (spoken and written). Additional languages are a plus.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹25, ₹30,000.00 per month
