Project Manager

JOB PURPOSE: Managing the technical aspects of the projects and executing operations & maintenance of the same as well. Cost & feasibility analysis for sales pitch projects. JOB DUTIES / DESCRIPTION:
1. Overall leading a team of managers and supervisors in the day-to-day management of project safety, quality, schedule, cost control, contracts, subcontractors, suppliers,proposals, estimates, documentation turnover, client relations/management, field staff and other duties required to Project in time and safely manner. 2. Fulfilment of with HSE policies, management objectives systems, Review and amend work procedure (SOP) and ensure risk assessment and HSE plans with each discipline project. 3. Ensure recording HSE data and implementing on that develop emergency response plan and 4. Comply with regulatory requirements. 5. Implementation of risk management process and mitigation plan with review and implementation of systems, practices and appropriate training of personal to identified potential risks and Workplace Risk Assessments, SOP, regular Inspection and Site Environmental Plans. 6. Assisting the Financial compliance of solar project. Meeting with client and generate the new business opportunities. 7. Compliance of statutory law and contractual requirement based on the site location and according to company and client requirement. 8. Work of the unit/area to ensure completion of all activities within time, by continuously emphasizing and enforcing adherence to safety and quality and reporting to management and client. 9. Interpretation of drawings & construction drawings and suggest remedial action for errors and non-feasibility and issue the variation request. 10. To develop the new vendor, supplier, contractor, and sub-contractor. 11. Work with approved Job Cost Report(JCR) for each items during initial phase of new project and to oversee the total cost out comes and ensure to raise the any deviation of approval cost in advance. 12. Monitoring of progress report of site against each activity and review the installation contractor administration, rental services of plant equipment, professional service like commissioning team, SCADA installation team and commissioning. 13. Review, negotiation, approval, and execution of client contracts, subcontracts, and raise the amend orders request. 14. Design optimization of solar PV plants (residential, commercial and utility scale) Technology and design review of solar PV plants. 15. Specification assistance for all aspects of solar farm construction 16. Assist clients with procurement including contract negotiation and tendering & Technical due diligence of pre-construction and operational projects 17. Expedite and oversee materials receiving and management process, including inventory control, receiving of goods, storage, and transportation in time. 18. Review the client contract, delivery term based on that raise the variation or change request of scope. Based on the client contact, preparation of subcontract scope of work, terms condition with minimize project commercial, safety and quality risk also with or without supply like consumable, etc. 19. Ensure all the project staff of engineers, manager about the brief scope of work for project along with project time line with safety and quality standard. 20. Preparation of list of material, equipment including long lead delivery items and closely follow up with purchase team 21. Preparation of Project look ahead schedule with set milestones including Daily ,weekly, fortnightly, monthly with site work progress report. 22. Arranging the training of project teams and facilitate the efficient cost-effective utilization of staff while adhering to contractual and performance requirements 23. Coach and mentor the development of the project team members. 24. Making an overall resource mobilization plan based on scope and schedule. Coordination with central electrical for contracts and resources mobilization related issues. 25. Plan & monitor resource mobilization, requirement of enabling items etc. Prepare activity wise plan, based on the project overall schedule and based on probable availability of fronts based on civil, mechanical, electrical activities and material ETA at site. 26. Follow up with design group for release of drawings, allocation of material and raise SER wherever necessary. Follow up with civil, mechanical and counterparts for creation of work fronts. 27. Responsible to carryout testing and pre-commissioning activities for installations and necessary statutory approvals. 28. Establish and enhance Project Management (Multi-Projects) through continuous training/certification. 29. Skilled with Project planning on PERT CPM / GAANT charts
QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS:
1. Minimum Bachelors degree in Engineering 2. Site & Construction, project planning with tools like PERT,CPM & GAANT 3. Financial Modeling & Cost estimation 4. Techno-commercial professional years of experience
