About the Role

A leading global digital services and solutions organization is seeking a
Delivery Head – Integration Engineering
at the Vice President level. This is a pivotal leadership role responsible for driving enterprise-scale integration delivery programs, strengthening modernization initiatives, and shaping next-generation integration capabilities powered by AI, Cloud, Data, and API ecosystems.

The role demands deep expertise in integration technologies, strategic delivery governance, and experience managing large global teams and complex transformation portfolios.

Key ResponsibilitiesStrategic Leadership

  • Drive delivery of modern integration services including API Management, event-driven architectures, cloud-native integration, and microservices-based solutions.
  • Champion AI-first assets for integration modernization and establish Integration Centers of Excellence (CoEs) for platforms such as MuleSoft, Kong, etc.
  • Lead the creation of centralized integration factory models to enhance delivery velocity and reduce TCO.

Delivery Oversight & Program Management

  • Oversee end-to-end delivery of platform migrations, modernization programs, and enterprise transformation initiatives.
  • Co-own revenue realization and cost optimization across integration portfolios.
  • Manage and scale large cross-functional teams (1,000+ global integration professionals).
  • Ensure proactive resource planning, competency development, and capability readiness.

Solution Architecture & Technology Enablement

  • Guide architecture decisions and platform selection across technologies such as IBM API Connect, Kong, Azure APIM, MuleSoft, Kafka, AWS, and others.
  • Promote accelerators, reference architectures, APIOps, and automation to boost delivery quality and speed.
  • Drive innovation in integration modernization using composable, event-driven, and cloud-native architectures.

Governance, Quality & Best Practices

  • Establish governance frameworks, quality gates, and compliance controls for integration delivery.
  • Ensure reliable, secure, and resilient integration solutions across client engagements.
  • Mentor teams to uphold industry best practices and continuous improvement standards.

Client Engagement & Relationship Management

  • Serve as a trusted advisor to global clients across BFSI, Insurance, Travel, Retail, and Healthcare.
  • Lead consulting-led engagements, assess client needs, and define future-state integration strategy and operating models.
  • Strengthen long-term client relationships and influence market positioning.

Qualifications & Experience

  • 18+ years of strong experience in integration engineering, modern integration platforms, and large-scale delivery leadership.
  • Proven track record in managing transformation portfolios of $50M+ value.
  • Deep commercial acumen, business understanding, and exposure to global delivery models.
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Information Technology or related fields.
