Kish Hospitality Consultant is currently seeking an experienced and passionate Bar Manager to join our team at a luxury beach club in Goa. We are a renowned hospitality consultancy firm committed to delivering exceptional service and unforgettable experiences to our guests. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in bar management and mixology, with a proven track record of delivering high-quality beverage offerings.

Responsibilities:

1. Develop and execute innovative drink menus, featuring a wide variety of cocktails, mocktails, spirits, and wines, that cater to the beach club's clientele.

2. Train and lead the bar staff to ensure exceptional service standards, product knowledge, and adherence to recipes and beverage preparation techniques.

3. Foster a positive and welcoming environment for guests and team members, promoting a culture of professionalism, respect, and teamwork.

4. Manage inventory and stock levels efficiently, placing orders and monitoring supplies to ensure optimal stock and minimal waste.

5. Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers and vendors to source high-quality ingredients and beverages.

6. Create and implement standard operating procedures to ensure the smooth operation of the bar, including cash handling, opening and closing procedures, and maintenance.

7. Stay updated on emerging trends in mixology, craft cocktails, and the beverage industry, incorporating new ideas and concepts into the drink menu.

8. Collaborate with the Executive Chef and management team to create food and beverage pairings and develop innovative promotions and events.

9. Ensure compliance with all local regulations and licensing requirements pertaining to the bar operation.

10. Monitor and control costs, including labor, inventory, and waste, to maximize profitability while maintaining high-quality standards.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Bar Manager or similar role in a luxury hospitality environment.

• Extensive knowledge of mixology, beverage preparation techniques, and current industry trends.

• Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate staff.

• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with guests, staff, and suppliers.

• Excellent organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize and multitask effectively.

• Experience in menu development and creating signature cocktails.

• Familiarity with inventory management software and POS systems.

• Knowledge of local and international wines, spirits, and cocktails.

• Understanding of health and safety regulations as they pertain to the bar operation.

• Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

• A degree or certification in a Hospitality Management, Mixology) is preferred.
