Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Industrial Automation Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining automated systems that enhance manufacturing processes. This role requires a strong understanding of robotics, programmable logic controllers (PLCs), and lean manufacturing principles to optimize production efficiency and ensure compliance with CGMP standards.

Duties

  • Design and develop automated systems using Fanuc robotics and other automation technologies.
  • Program robots for various manufacturing applications, ensuring precision and reliability.
  • Conduct root cause analysis to troubleshoot and resolve issues in automated systems.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate automation solutions into existing manufacturing processes.
  • Read and interpret schematics and blueprints to guide system design and implementation.
  • Utilize AutoCAD and SolidWorks for creating detailed designs and layouts of automation equipment.
  • Implement vision inspection systems to enhance quality control measures within the production line.
  • Maintain mechanical knowledge of tooling and machining processes to support automation initiatives.
  • Work with distributed control systems to ensure seamless operation of automated equipment.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field is preferred.
  • Proven experience in industrial automation, including familiarity with robotics and PLC programming.
  • Strong understanding of lean manufacturing principles and CGMP compliance.
  • Proficiency in reading schematics, blueprints, and technical documentation.
  • Experience with AutoCAD, SolidWorks, and vision inspection systems is highly desirable.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with a focus on root cause analysis.
