Collekto is a fast-growing Fintech company specializing in retail debt collection solutions.
Our product suite leverages AI, analytics, and seamless integrations with any LMS or third-
party platform to help lending institutions optimize collections, improve recovery rates, and deliver better borrower experiences.
As we expand our SaaS vertical, we are looking for a strategic and driven Business
Development Head to lead our go-to-market efforts, build strong client relationships, and
accelerate revenue growth.
Role Overview
The Business Development Head – SaaS Vertical will be responsible for driving growth of
Collekto's SaaS business by developing and executing sales strategies, building high-value
partnerships, and expanding our client base among NBFCs, Banks, and Lending Institutions.
This is a leadership role that requires a mix of strategic thinking, domain knowledge in
fintech/lending/collections, and a proven track record in enterprise SaaS sales.
Key Responsibilities
• Strategy & Leadership
o Define and execute the go-to-market strategy for the SaaS vertical.
o Own P&L responsibility for the SaaS business line.
o Build, mentor, and scale a high-performing business development and sales
team.
• Business Development & Sales
o Identify, target, and acquire enterprise clients in the lending ecosystem.
o Drive end-to-end sales cycles: from lead generation to pitching, negotiation,
and closure.
o Develop account penetration strategies for large NBFCs, Banks, and Digital
Lenders.
• Partnerships & Ecosystem Building
o Forge partnerships with LMS providers, fintech players, and collection
agencies.
o Represent Collekto at industry events, conferences, and forums.
• Client Engagement & Retention
o Build strong C-level relationships with client organizations.
o Work closely with product and customer success teams to ensure adoption,
value realization, and renewals.
• Market Intelligence
o Track industry trends, competitive landscape, and regulatory changes.
o Provide inputs to product and strategy teams for continuous innovation.
Key Requirements
• Experience: 10–15 years of total experience, with at least 5+ years in enterprise SaaS
sales/business development.
• Domain Knowledge: Strong understanding of fintech, NBFC, banks, collections, or
related ecosystems.
• Track Record: Proven success in closing large enterprise deals and managing
complex sales cycles.
• Leadership: Experience in building and managing high-performing sales teams.
• Skills: Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
• Mindset: Strategic thinker with execution focus; ability to thrive in a fast-paced
startup environment.
