Role Summary

We are seeking a full time Community Manager to lead engagement within our online learner community while also supporting Uptrail's wider marketing initiatives. This is a remote position where you will play a key role in shaping the learner experience, fostering collaboration, and growing our brand presence across digital platforms.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and moderate Uptrail's Discord community, ensuring it remains active, inclusive, and supportive.
  • Design and implement engagement initiatives such as discussions, challenges, polls, and live events.
  • Encourage collaboration, networking, and peer-to-peer learning among members.
  • Recognise and celebrate learner achievements to drive motivation and retention.
  • Gather feedback and provide insights to enhance the learner experience.
  • Assist in planning and executing content across social media platforms.
  • Contribute to digital marketing campaigns, email newsletters, and blogs.
  • Monitor and report on engagement metrics across community and marketing channels.
  • Collaborate with the wider team to maintain consistent branding and messaging.

Qualifications

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience managing online communities (Discord or similar platforms).
  • Understanding of digital marketing (social media, content creation, or campaigns).
  • Creative thinker with the ability to generate new engagement ideas.
  • Organised, proactive, and able to work independently in a remote environment.
  • A passion for education, career development, and technology.
