Role Overview:
Iron Lady is seeking a dynamic and strategic Community Head to lead our diverse program communities, foster deep engagement, and build powerful networks that drive transformation. This role requires a blend of creativity, leadership, data-driven decision-making, and a deep understanding of how to nurture and scale vibrant communities. You will be at the heart of our mission designing meaningful experiences, managing multi-stakeholder groups, and turning community energy into business growth and social impact.
Key Responsibilities:
- Community Management:
Manage multiple program-based communities through engaging sessions, activities, and events to build strong, vibrant ecosystems. - Content and Engagement Strategy:
Ideate and execute creative initiatives to keep communities active, connected, and growing including contests, challenges, user-generated content drives, and interactive forums. - Event Planning and Execution:
Plan and deliver events and activities (both virtual and offline) for community members. Create new event formats and experiences targeted at corporate partnerships. - Revenue and Growth Initiatives:
Identify and leverage opportunities within the community to drive revenue, including special paid events, premium content, and partnerships. - Sponsorship Generation:
Initiate and manage sponsorships for community events and programs through corporate partners, CSR initiatives, and philanthropic collaborations. - Volunteer Management:
Build, manage, and energize a group of volunteers to support various community initiatives and events. - Corporate Engagement:
Create event proposals and manage delivery for corporate clients, driving both impact and business growth. - Content Development and Delivery:
Oversee the creation of blogs, newsletters, social media posts, and in-app content for community engagement. Work closely with tech teams to ensure seamless content delivery across platforms like apps, websites, and internal community hubs. - Technology and Data Management:
Leverage technology tools (community apps, CRM, data dashboards) to manage community data, analyze engagement trends, and drive improvements. - Team Leadership:
Lead and mentor a team of 4- or 5-members including community managers, event coordinators, and content creators to achieve community KPIs and objectives.
Required Skills and Experience:
- 4 to 9 years of proven experience in community management, event management, or related fields.
- Strong creative thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal abilities.
- Experience in handling community tech platforms and CRM tools.
- A track record of driving revenue opportunities through community initiatives.
- Ability to plan, organize, and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Experience in managing a small to medium-sized team.
- High energy, self-driven, and passion for building communities with real impact.
Compensation and Benefits:
