Job PurposeTo lead detailed model building, tuning and integration of the models for OTS projects, meeting project requirements and quality assurance of the simulators being delivered.
Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities- Responsible for the engineering activities of Operator Training System (OTS) to provide value-added engineering solutions.
- Ensure successful completion of design; achieve desired quality to meet all design review and internal audit requirements.
- Manage project schedules to meet delivery timelines of model sections for integration.
- Working to specification for model areas.
- Identify technical issues and obtain clarification.
- Participate in OTS project validation and witness testing.
- A Degree in Chemical Engineering.
- Minimum 8 years experience in the dynamic simulation of oil and gas, refinery and chemical processes.
- Experience of Operator Training Simulators and dynamic process simulation studies.
- Have the spirit working with others, and building team works.
- System Design Engineering analysis and techniques, Preparation of Project documentation, Report progress to lead engineer.
- Exposure to different Simulation Software used such as Shadowplant, HYSYS, Dynamism, Aspen plus, Pro II.
- Experience in modeling and implementing high fidelity training simulator in industrial process units (oil & gas, petrochemical, etc.)
- Knowledge and experience in various control systems and applications such as DCS, ESD, APC, OMS, etc. will be advantageous.
- Project Report writing skills.
