About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Accountant to manage and oversee daily accounting operations, financial reporting, audits, and compliance. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of accounting principles, taxation, and financial analysis, with the ability to support strategic financial decisions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee day-to-day accounting operations including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger.
  • Prepare and finalize monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
  • Ensure compliance with statutory regulations and company policies (GST, TDS, Income Tax, ROC filings, etc.).
  • Manage bank reconciliations, journal entries, and expense tracking.
  • Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities.
  • Review and monitor internal controls and ensure accuracy of financial data.
  • Coordinate with auditors for internal and statutory audits.
  • Analyze financial performance and provide insights to management.
  • Support process improvements to enhance accounting efficiency and accuracy.
  • Supervise and mentor junior accounting staff.
