Job Summary:

The Project Manager (Civil) will be responsible for planning, executing, and monitoring all civil, structural, and infrastructure work related to setting up or upgrading industrial laundry plants. The role involves coordinating with architects, vendors, and internal teams to ensure timely completion of construction, utilities, and layout works within approved budgets and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, schedule, and oversee all civil and structural work for new laundry plant projects.
  • Prepare BOQs, cost estimates, and project timelines.
  • Coordinate with contractors, vendors, and consultants for site execution.
  • Supervise civil construction, flooring, drainage, foundation, and piping work.
  • Ensure proper layout for machine installation, utilities (steam, water, air, power), and material flow.
  • Monitor progress, site quality, and adherence to safety and compliance norms.
  • Conduct site inspections and prepare progress reports for management.
  • Manage procurement and logistics for project-related materials.
  • Coordinate with the electrical, plumbing, and mechanical teams for complete infrastructure readiness.
  • Identify risks, delays, and cost overruns — and take corrective action.
  • Ensure handover of site in ready condition for commissioning and operation.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • B.E. / B.Tech / Diploma in Civil Engineering.
  • 6–10 years of experience in industrial or commercial projects (preferably laundry, hospitality, or plant setup).
  • Strong understanding of civil works, MEP coordination, and plant layout planning.
  • Experience in project estimation, tendering, and vendor management.
  • Proficient in MS Project / Excel / AutoCAD for planning and reporting.
