Key Responsibilities:
1. Procurement & Supply Chain Management
- Lead and manage the procurement process for materials, components, and services required for the production of coated steel products.
- Oversee sourcing activities to ensure competitive pricing, quality, and timely delivery of materials while maintaining strong supplier relationships.
- Negotiate contracts, terms, and conditions with suppliers, ensuring alignment with company standards and compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders.
2. Commercial & Contract Management
- Develop and execute strategies for cost-effective procurement and managing purchase contracts, with a focus on reducing overall cost of ownership.
- Draft, review, and manage commercial contracts, including terms of delivery, payment terms, and penalties for non-compliance.
- Identify potential risks in the supply chain and procurement process, working to mitigate these through risk management plans.
3. Team Management and Development
- Lead, mentor and manage the team, ensuring their continuous development and fostering a high-performance culture.
- Set KPIs for the team and evaluate their performance to ensure that procurement targets.
5. Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Educational Qualifications: Bachelors degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field (MBA preferred).
Experience:
Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in procurement of Steel industry
Strong experience, negotiation, and supplier relationship management
Skills:
Excellent negotiation and communication abilities.
- Expert in Analytics
- Proficiency in SAP, Ariba, advanced MS Excel/Macros and Power Point
