the reservation executive is responsible for managing room reservation efficiently and professionally, ensuring guest satisfaction and seamless booking experiences. this role plays a key part in maximizing hotel occupancy, revenue and delivering exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Reservation Handling

Manage all incoming reservation enquiries via phone, email, online platforms, and walk-ins.Maintain accurate records of bookings, cancellations, and amendments.

Ensure timely confirmation of bookings and follow-up communication with guests.

Coordinate with Front Office, Housekeeping, and Sales teams to ensure room availability and readiness.

  1. Customer Service

Provide courteous and professional assistance to guests regarding room types, rates, packages, facilities, and policies.

Address guest queries and complaints promptly and professionally.

Promote hotel services, special events, and offers to enhance guest experience.

Monitor bookings to avoid overbooking and optimize occupancy.

  1. Administrative & System Tasks

Work with the hotel PMS (Property Management System) to process reservations.

Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly reservation reports.

Maintain organized files and ensure data accuracy.

Coordinate with management for forecasting room demand and occupancy trends.

  1. Collaboration & Communication

Work closely with the Front Office, Sales, Accounts, and Operations departments.

Inform relevant teams about special requests, VIP arrivals, and group bookings.

Qualifications & Skills

Required:

Bachelor's degree or diploma in Hotel Management, Business Administration, or related field.

Proven experience as a Reservation Executive or in customer service/hospitality role.

Strong communication skills (English & local language).

Good computer proficiency
