Job Description:

Key responsibilities:
- Reconciliation of Hire Purchase loan. (Recorded repayments and interest correctly)
- Reconciliation of GST, ICA, ITA accounts as year-end.
- Reconciliation of PAYG Withheld account on year-end basis
- Reconciliation of PAYG Income Tax Instalment account on year-end basis
- Preparation of year end reconciliation of all Balance Sheet items.
- General ledger scrutiny from last year financials
- Better understanding about Division 7A loan related to company or Trust.
- Reconciliation of closing balance of Superannuation Payable as on 30 June.
- Reconciliation Inter- entities Loan Accounts
- Knowledge of Trust Distribution Minutes.
- Knowledge of Small Business entity & Base rate entity.
- Overview of General Ledger to ensure all the transactions are allocated properly with the
correct tax code & solve discrepancies if any
- Knowledge of Capital Gain Tax related to Property, shares, crypto etc.
- Knowledge about Partnership Deed
- Have knowledge & understanding of distribution the profit of Discretionary & Hybrid Trusts to
individuals.
- Finalization of Accounts
- Preparation of Tax returns of individual's, Trust, Company & Partnership in all aspects
- Good written and verbal communication skills and maintain open and effective communication
with clients to address inquiries and provide financials & tax return insights
- Proficiency in accounting software like Xero, Handi Ledger, Handi Tax, QuickBooks, MYOB, CCH
etc
- Understanding of Non-deductible expenses.
- Knowledge of Franking accounts as need to prepare in company tax return.
- Knowledge of differentiation of Tax loss and Capital loss.
- The ability to build strong client relationships
- Possess good organizational & management skills
- Independently can handle client and communicate with client efficiently.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
- Ability to work effectively under tight time frames
- Supervise the work of Accountants and provide training to them if required
- Qualification: Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field
- Any Professional qualifications is an advantage
