Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Senior Accountant based in Ahmedabad. The Senior Accountant will oversee financial activities, ensure accuracy in financial reporting, manage month-end and year-end closing processes, prepare tax returns, and ensure compliance with accounting regulations. Responsibilities also include managing audits, analyzing financial data, providing strategic financial advice, and collaborating with other departments to optimize financial operations.

Qualifications

  • Proficiency in financial reporting, bookkeeping, and tax preparation
  • Experience in managing audits, payroll services, and compliance
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
  • Knowledge of accounting software and advanced Excel skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
  • Chartered accountant
    designation preferred or equivalent qualifications
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in accounting or related field
