Designation: Senior Tax Executive (Part-time role offered on a contractual basis)

Work Schedule: This role requires flexibility to work within a 3:00 PM – 5:00 AM window (As per client requirement)

Location: Ahmedabad (On-site preferred; remote flexibility available)

Job Description:

As a Senior U.S. Taxation Executive, you will be responsible for managing compliance with U.S. tax regulations and ensuring regulatory compliance for our clients. You will use your analytical skills to analyze financial data and assess compliance requirements. Effective communication skills will be crucial in liaising with clients and colleagues.

Responsibilities:

  • CA or CPA, or EA preferably with 4+ years of US Taxation experience.
  • Managed team(s) having at least 5 team members. Preference will be given to candidates having prior experience for a US-based CPA firm.
  • Must have prepared accurate and timely tax returns for federal, state, and local jurisdictions (Forms 1120, 1120-S,1065, 990, 1040 etc.). Filing experience will be an added advantage.
  • Prepare accurate and timely sales tax returns.
  • Experience with form 5471, 8865, 5472 and other international tax filing preferred.
  • Strong project management skills.
  • Ensure compliance with tax laws and regulations, including responding to tax notices.
  • Stay updated with changes in tax laws and regulations to ensure compliance and minimize tax liabilities.
  • Extensive research on various regulations applicable on corporations at federal as well as various state levels to provide timely guidance to clients.
  • Ability to manage multiple engagements and competing priorities.
  • Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills.
  • Experience of working on 2 or more US taxation software. Software proficiency Drake is preferred, experience on any other tax software like (TaxSlayer Pro, UltraTax, Intuit ProConnect, Lacerte Tax, CCH Access)
  • Knowledge of QuickBooks and CCH Access systems.

Qualifications:

4+ years of experience in the US taxation.

Familiarity with U.S. tax regulations and compliance frameworks

Excellent communication skills

Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field.

Fluency in Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)
