This role is critical to avoid costly rework, delays, and misalignment between design deliverables and construction schedules.What Success Looks Like in 1 Year:Zero errors in GFC (Good for Construction) drawings, reducing site clashes by 90%.30% faster approval turnaround for RCC, architectural, and structural drawings.Fully digitized drawing management and approval workflow implemented.Drawings and revisions seamlessly linked with project schedules for proactive planning.Responsibilities:Oversee civil/architectural drawing preparation, revisions, and approvals (RCC, finishes, MEP coordination).Ensure compliance with NBC, local bylaws, and internal QA/QC standards.Liaise with architects, structural engineers, and contractors to resolve clashes.Coordinate drawing release schedules in alignment with project timelines, ensuring no delays to execution.Assist in project planning activities, including preparing and monitoring drawing-related timelines in Primavera/MS Project.Monitor progress of drawing deliverables versus schedule, flagging risks in advance.Train draftsmen on AutoCAD, Revit, BIM standards, and drawing-linked planning processes.Must-Have Experience (Non-Negotiable):Expertise in civil/structural drawings for high-rises (>20 floors).Mastery of AutoCAD, Revit, and Navisworks clash detection.Experience with municipal submission processes (Pune PMC/PMRDA).Hands-on experience in integrating drawings with project schedules for planning and execution.Nice-to-Haves:BIM Level 2 certification.Knowledge of Primavera or MS Project for drawing-linked scheduling.The Way We Work (Culture Fit):Collaborative but deadline-driven."Measure twice, cut once" mindset—precision over speed.Location & Work Requirements:6 days/weekInterview Signals We Look For:Asks detailed questions about drawing approval and release workflows.Brings examples of how they have linked drawings to project planning in past roles.Shares anonymized GFC drawing samples showing clash-free coordination.
