We are looking for a detail-oriented QA & Compliance Engineer who will be responsible for ensuring the quality of software applications as well as managing and supporting ISO 27001 compliance activities. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in software testing, documentation, and compliance processes, along with an understanding of ISO 27001 standards and governance.

Key Responsibilities

Quality Assurance & Testing

  • Develop, execute, and maintain test plans, test cases, and test scripts for applications and systems.
  • Perform functional, regression, integration, and system testing to ensure product quality and performance.
  • Identify, document, and track defects using bug-tracking tools; collaborate with development teams for quick resolution.
  • Ensure adherence to QA best practices, processes, and standards throughout the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).

Compliance & Documentation (ISO 27001)

  • Assist in implementing and maintaining ISO 27001 Information Security Management System (ISMS) policies and procedures.
  • Conduct regular internal audits, reviews, and compliance checks to ensure continuous alignment with ISO 27001 standards.
  • Maintain accurate compliance documentation, audit reports, and evidence records for internal and external audits.
  • Support risk assessments, control implementation, and remediation activities related to information security.

Process Improvement & Reporting

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance QA processes and ensure compliance integration in workflows.
  • Generate and present QA metrics, compliance audit findings, and improvement reports to management.
  • Identify opportunities to improve processes, systems, testing efficiency, and compliance posture.

Collaboration & Training

  • Work closely with IT, Development, and Operations teams to ensure compliance and quality are integrated throughout processes.
  • Provide guidance and train team members on QA best practices and ISO 27001 requirements.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Experience in manual and/or automated software testing.
  • Understanding of SDLC, QA methodologies, test planning, and bug tracking.
  • Knowledge of ISO 27001 or other compliance frameworks.
  • Experience preparing documentation for audits and maintaining compliance records.
  • Strong analytical, documentation, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Skills (Good to Have)

  • Experience with automation testing tools (Selenium, JIRA, etc.).
  • Exposure to IT security, risk management, or governance frameworks.
  • Certification in ISO 27001 Internal Auditor/Lead Implementer is an advantage.
