Position Summary

The Cluster Visual Merchandiser is responsible for planning, executing, and maintaining brand-aligned visual merchandising standards across multiple stores within an assigned cluster. This role ensures the optimal presentation of products to enhance customer experience, maximize sales, support store teams, and strengthen brand identity.

Key Responsibilities
1. Visual Merchandising Execution

  • Implement global and regional VM guidelines across all stores in the cluster.
  • Ensure consistent brand presentation through window displays, in-store product placements, layout execution, and point-of-sale (POS) materials.
  • Regularly update store displays based on seasonality, promotions, product launches, and sell-through data.
  • Conduct store visits to evaluate execution quality and make necessary improvements.

2. Store Support & Training

  • Train store staff on visual merchandising standards, product presentation techniques, and display maintenance.
  • Guide store managers in executing VM directives effectively.
  • Provide creative solutions to space or layout challenges across various store formats.

3. Commercial & Sales Alignment

  • Use sales data and inventory levels to influence product display strategy.
  • Optimize product visibility to support key categories and business priorities.
  • Collaborate with the merchandising and retail teams to plan product flows and store layouts.

4. New Store Openings & Renovations

  • Lead visual merchandising setup for new store openings, relocations, or refurbishments.
  • Coordinate with designers, contractors, and store teams to ensure timely and accurate VM execution.

5. Compliance & Reporting

  • Conduct regular VM audits and provide store performance reports.
  • Identify gaps and propose corrective actions to management.
  • Maintain updated documentation of cluster store layouts and VM plans.

6. Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Work closely with marketing to align campaigns with in-store visual execution.
  • Coordinate with inventory and product teams to ensure adequate stock for key VM displays.
  • Provide feedback on product performance and customer visual engagement.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Visual Merchandising, Fashion Design, Retail Management, or related field.
  • 2–5 years of visual merchandising experience, preferably in retail or multi-store environments.
  • Strong understanding of retail space planning, display techniques, and brand aesthetics.
  • Proficient in visual planning tools (Photoshop, Illustrator, SketchUp, etc.) is an advantage.
  • Valid driver's license and willingness to travel frequently.
