Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Junior Site Reliability Engineer based in Bengaluru South. The Junior Site Reliability Engineer will be responsible for monitoring and maintaining site uptime, performance, and reliability. Tasks include identifying and resolving production issues, implementing automated solutions, and collaborating with development and operations teams to improve the software development lifecycle. Additional responsibilities include ensuring system security, conducting performance testing, and implementing scalability improvements.

Qualifications

  • Monitoring and Maintenance: Site uptime, performance, and reliability; identifying and resolving production issues
  • Automation and Scripting: Implementing automated solutions
  • Collaboration: Working with development and operations teams to improve the software development lifecycle
  • Security and Testing: Ensuring system security; conducting performance testing
  • Scalability: Implementing scalability improvements
  • Relevant Experience: Background in system administration, networking, or cloud services
  • Technical Skills: Familiarity with tools like Docker, Kubernetes, and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines
  • Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
