Role Overview:

The role involves validating contractors bills, reviewing work orders, conducting process audits, and ensuring compliance with applicable financial, statutory, and real estate laws. The position requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to independently manage audits, reconciliations, and compliance-related activities.

Role & responsibilities:

  • Validate contractors bills against work order requirements and review work completion certificates issued by Engineer-in-Charge (EIC).
  • Conduct process audits and site visits as per audit plan and requirements.
  • Validate vendor and customer account reconciliations.
  • Ensure compliance with RERA regulations and other applicable real estate sector laws.
  • Track and reconcile inventory on a periodic basis.
  • Handle compliance activities including TDS, PF, GST, and other statutory requirements.
  • Audit day-to-day office expenses related to maintenance, security, and administrative functions.
  • Prepare audit reports, highlight deviations, and recommend corrective actions.
  • Coordinate with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure timely closure of audit points and compliance matters.

Preferred candidate profile:

  • Graduate/Postgraduate in Commerce, Finance, or related field.
  • Professional certifications (CA Inter / CMA Inter / CIA) preferred.
  • 5 - 8 years of experience in internal audit, compliance, or finance function, in real estate or infrastructure sector.
  • Hands-on experience in vendor/customer reconciliation, statutory compliance, and process audits.
