Job Summary:
The AGM P&L and Business Unit Head is a senior leadership role responsible for managing the financial performance and operational efficiency of a specific business unit. This role demands strategic oversight, strong financial acumen, and the ability to lead cross-functional teams to achieve business objectives and drive growth.
Key Responsibilities:
Profit and Loss (P&L) Management:
Own and manage the business unit's financial statements.
- Drive budgeting, forecasting, and cost control initiatives.
Ensure profitability through effective resource allocation and revenue optimization.
Business Unit Leadership:
Lead the business unit's strategic direction and operational execution.
- Align team goals with organizational objectives.
Foster a high-performance culture.
Operational Oversight:
Manage human and material resources efficiently.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations.
Monitor KPIs and operational metrics for continuous improvement.
Strategic Planning and Execution:
Develop and implement growth strategies including market expansion and customer acquisition.
- Identify new business opportunities and partnerships.
Collaborate with senior leadership on long-term planning.
Stakeholder Communication:
Maintain effective communication with internal teams, senior management, and external stakeholders.
- Present business performance reports and strategic plans.
- Build strong relationships with clients, vendors, and partners.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Proven experience in P&L management and financial reporting.
- Strong leadership and team management capabilities.
- Strategic thinker with a track record of driving business growth.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Deep understanding of market dynamics and customer-centric approaches.
- Bachelor's degree / PG in Business Administration, General management, or related field (MBA preferred).
- 10+ years of relevant experience in business operations or unit leadership.
