We are looking for Second-line Manager – Enterprise Enablement Back Office for this strategic leadership role who is responsible for leading the IT BackOffice organization from Kolkata. The role includes coordination of SAP functional and technical activities including ABAP development and test automation and Product Life Cycle management. The Second line Manager will serve as a leader, directly overseeing first-line managers and their respective teams. The role is designed to ensure operational excellence, technical innovation, and alignment with global business objectives.

The ideal person will provide thought leadership in various modules of SAP used in the Manufacturing and High-Tech Vertical industries with specific functional expertise in SAP S/4 Hana and comprehensive product knowledge of SAP Material Management (MM), SAP Sales and Distribution (SD), SAP Production Planning (PP), SAP Finance (FI), Hybris Billing (Convergent Charging, Convergent Invoicing, FI-CA, FI-RAR), SAP CRM, SAP MDG, SAP Fiori.

This is how you'll make an impact:

- Lead and manage first-line managers across the Enterprise Backoffice organization in India.
- Build and nurture a high-performing, collaborative, and inclusive team culture.
- Drive workforce planning, talent acquisition, career development, and succession planning for the India teams.

- Oversee the SAP and PLM teams to take ownership of the solution delivery of projects and continuous improvements including prioritization, planning and execution ensuring quality, supportability and end-users adoption

- Act as visionary and strategist for System implementation to meet Business Strategy

- Provides system expertise to ensure successful alignment with business functions and provide guidance to the team to translate system requirements into software solution design and configuration while ensuring quality of documentation

- Work closely with the US-based leadership to understand and internalize the strategic vision for ERP and PLM initiatives.
- Localize and operationalize strategic initiatives, ensuring timely execution and feedback loops.
- Provide regular reporting and insights on team performance, delivery milestones, and innovation outcomes.

- Partner with global and regional stakeholders across IT, business units, product teams, and data governance to ensure alignment and integration of ERP and PLM capabilities.
- Represent the Kolkata teams in global forums, contributing to strategic planning and enterprise-wide initiatives.

- Ensure adherence to internal policies, data privacy regulations, and compliance frameworks.
- Champion responsible data stewardship and platform governance across all initiatives.

Required Skills & Experience:

• 15+ Years of overall experience including at least 3 years of experience as manager driving technical deliveries and people management
• Broad proficiency in SAP in Manufacturing or High-Tech Vertical Industries; in Global, multi-business lines, complex large corporate IT
• Proven ability to work in matrixed, global delivery environments
• Demonstrated success in leading and managing technical delivery teams 
• Effective communication skills, enabling effective collaboration with cross-functional teams and stakeholders 
• Strategic and conceptual thinker
• High personal integrity, prioritizing the needs of customers and employees 
• A record of accomplishment of influencing change and driving success 
• Adaptability in fast-paced, dynamic environments
