Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Junior Engineer to join our Quality Control department. The ideal candidate will assist in inspecting materials, products, and processes to ensure compliance with quality standards and regulatory requirements. This role is ideal for recent engineering graduates or individuals with 2 years of QC experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform in-process and final inspection of products using standard QC tools and equipment.
  • Assist in implementing and monitoring quality control systems and procedures.
  • Support the preparation of quality documentation, reports, and records (e.g., inspection reports, test data).
  • Conduct sample testing and measurements as per defined specifications and SOPs.
  • Identify non-conformities and assist in root cause analysis and corrective/preventive actions (CAPA).
  • Maintain calibration records and ensure AMC of an instruments are in line.
  • Work collaboratively with Production, R&D, and Process teams to resolve quality-related issues.
  • Ensure adherence to safety protocols and quality standards such as IMS, IS 2095, GMP, or industry-specific standards.
  • Participate in internal audits and assist during external audits/inspections.

Required Qualifications & Skills:

  • Diploma/bachelor's degree in chemistry, or relevant engineering discipline.
  • 2-4 years of experience in quality control or related field.
  • Knowledge of quality control processes, inspection methods, and measurement tools (e.g., Vernier caliper, micrometer).
  • Familiarity with quality standards such as ISO, ASTM, or GMP (as applicable).
  • Basic understanding of statistical tools and quality analysis techniques (e.g., SPC, 5 Whys, 4M, 7 QC tools, Etc).
  • Good communication and documentation skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Internship or project work in a QC/QA environment.
  • Knowledge of PPMS, EPCS or SCADA.
  • Certification in quality tools (e.g., Six Sigma Yellow Belt) is a plus.

Growth Path:

Successful candidates may advance to roles such as QC Engineer, QA/QC Executive, based on performance and experience.
