About the Role

We are seeking a dynamic and result-oriented
Placement Officer
to drive industry collaborations, manage placement activities, and ensure successful job outcomes for our students. The ideal candidate will actively connect with companies on a daily basis, build long-term partnerships, and guide students to achieve their career goals.

Key Responsibilities
1. Industry Collaboration & Networking

  • Connect with
    companies and HR managers on a daily basis
    to explore new placement and internship opportunities.
  • Build and maintain long-term relationships with recruiters and corporate partners across industries.
  • Identify potential hiring partners and onboard them for campus drives, guest lectures, and recruitment events.
  • Organize industrial visits and networking sessions for students.

2. Placement Coordination

  • Plan, coordinate, and execute campus placement drives, interviews, and recruitment campaigns.
  • Communicate with students and employers for scheduling, shortlisting, and feedback.
  • Maintain an updated database of hiring companies, job openings, and placement statistics.

3. Student Career Support

  • Conduct resume-building, interview preparation, and career readiness sessions.
  • Guide students on industry expectations, soft skills, and career growth opportunities.
  • Motivate and mentor students to improve placement performance.

4. Reporting & Administration

  • Track daily outreach activities and maintain records of company interactions.
  • Prepare weekly and monthly reports on placement progress and company engagement.
  • Handle documentation such as offer letters, MoUs, and placement feedback.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree (preferably in Management, HR, or related field).
  • 2+ years of experience in placements, recruitment, or corporate relations (education/training sector preferred).
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and networking skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, Google Sheets, and CRM tools.
  • Highly organized, target-driven, and proactive in daily outreach.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience in
    technical or professional training
    domains (e.g., Embedded Systems, Data Science, IT, etc.).
  • Understanding of current
    industry hiring trends
    and
    skill requirements
    .
  • Ability to represent the institute professionally in front of corporate clients.

  • Number of new companies connected daily and weekly.
  • Total companies onboarded for placements/internships.
  • Student placement percentage and salary range achieved.
  • Student and recruiter satisfaction feedback.
