Trade Marketing Asst./Manager

Role & responsibilities -

  • Develop and execute trade marketing plans aligned with brand strategies and sales objectives
  • Coordinate with sales and distribution teams to implement in-store visibility, promotions and merchandising activities
  • Strong product knowledge for development of product communication
  • Strong experience in training and development of the sales team
  • Monitor and analyse market trends, competitor activities and consumer behaviour to suggest actionable improvements
  • Manage Point-of-Sale (POS) materials and ensure timely execution across retail channels
  • Plan and execute trade-led campaigns, product launches and retail engagement programs
  • Track ROI and effectiveness of trade promotions and recommend optimizations
  • Coordinate with vendors for production and timely delivery of promotional materials
  • Provide regular reports and insights on trade marketing performance, stock movement and retailer feedback
  • Work closely with key accounts and field teams to ensure compliance and execution of trade programs

Preferred candidate profile

  • Bachelors degree in science or pharmacy, Business Administration, or related field (MBA preferred)
  • Proven experience in trade marketing or sales within Pharma or Consumer healthcare segments
  • Strong analytical skills with proficiency in MS Excel and PowerPoint
  • Excellent communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and work in a fast-paced environment
  • Knowledge of market intelligence tools and retail audit data (e.g., Nielsen, IQVIA) is a plus
