Job role: - Research Assistant

Educational Qualifications:

Graduate in science/relevant subjects from recognized

university WITH i. three years work experience from a

recognized institution or ii. Masters degree in the relevant

subject.

Desirable Qualifications:

  • Experience in the field of HIV/AIDS
  • Exposure in field based health survey
  • Experience in working with High risk groups like FSW, MSM, IDU, and H/TG
  • Good computer knowledge
  • Fluency in local regional language (Gujarati)
  • Good English language skills
  • Good people interaction and communication skills
  • Willing to travel.
  • Local Candidates are encouraged to apply and will be preferred.

Job Description:

  • Undertaking and coordination of project activities (Meetings, training, data collection and other field work) under the supervision of project Coordinator/PI.
  • Coordination with concerned authorities at state level.
  • Comprehensive planning implementation and timely completion of fieldwork which includes visiting Hot spots, Conducting interviews of HRG Group, FGDs, KII
  • Any other duties that may be assigned by the nodal officer from time to time.
  • Survey sites are in Rajkot, Jamnagar, Ahmedabad, Surat , Bhavnagar, Mehshana and Vadodra. Hence, selected Candidates would be posted according to project requirements to these cities or other cities in Gujarat
