Role Description

We are seeking a full-time Assistant Research Scientist to join our team. This is an on-site role based in Ahmedabad. Responsibilities include conducting experiments, analyzing data, and contributing to Clinical diagnostics, Precision Medicine and translational research projects. The candidate will work closely with advanced technologies such as NGS, qPCR, and mass spectrometry to support research initiatives. Additional duties include report preparation, collaboration with cross-disciplinary teams, and ensuring laboratory compliance with quality and safety standards.

Qualifications

  • Strong knowledge of genomic and proteomic analysis, including Next Generation Sequencing (NGS), Tumour Profiling, liquid biopsy testing, pharmacogenomics (PGX).
  • Experience with advanced laboratory techniques such as qPCR, Digital PCR, Microarray.
  • Proficiency in scientific data analysis and reporting, with attention to detail
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team environment
  • Familiarity with technologies like CRISPR and spatial biology is an asset
  • Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
  • Ph.D. degree in Biotechnology, Biochemistry, Molecular Biology, or a related field
  • Previous experience in a research or diagnostic laboratory setting is preferred
