Job Title: Production Engineer (Heavy Fabrication)

Job Summary:

Our company is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Production Engineer to oversee the fabrication process for our heavy fabrication company. As the Production Engineer, you will be responsible for managing and supervising the production team, ensuring the timely completion of projects, and maintaining quality standards. You will also be responsible for ensuring the safety of all employees and maintaining compliance with all relevant regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

Plan and manage the production process for heavy fabrication projects, ensuring timely completion and adherence to quality standards.

Develop and maintain production schedules, monitor progress, and adjust as necessary to ensure deadlines are met.

Collaborate with design and engineering teams to optimize fabrication processes and improve overall efficiency.

Manage and supervise production staff, ensuring proper training, and providing feedback and guidance as necessary.

Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and maintain a safe working environment for all employees.

Oversee the maintenance of equipment and tools, ensuring they are in good working order and repairs are made as necessary.

Monitor and analyze production data to identify opportunities for improvement and cost reduction.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering, or a related field.

Minimum of 5 years of experience in heavy fabrication production management.

Strong technical knowledge of fabrication processes and equipment.

Excellent project management skills and the ability to prioritize multiple tasks and projects.

Strong leadership skills and the ability to effectively manage and motivate a team.

Knowledge of safety regulations and the ability to ensure compliance.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
