Role Overview

We are seeking a highly creative and detail-oriented Designer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in furniture design, technical drawing, 3D modeling, and cross-functional collaboration. You will be responsible for developing innovative product concepts from ideation to prototyping and final production, aligning closely with market trends and customer needs.________________________________________

Key Responsibilities

  1. Design & Ideation

  2. Develop ergonomic, functional, and visually appealing furniture designs.

  3. Create concept sketches and digital visuals aligned with client needs.
  4. Select materials, colors, and finishes that meet design objectives.

  5. Build mock-ups or prototypes for review and refinement.

  6. Technical Execution

  7. Prepare precise technical drawings using AutoCAD and Photoshop.

  8. Create 3D models and renderings using SketchUp, Blender, 3DS MAX, or MAYA.

  9. Ensure material feasibility and production readiness of designs.

  10. Project Coordination

  11. Translate briefs into actionable design plans.

  12. Develop spec sheets and coordinate with engineering and production teams.
  13. Support sample development and review for accuracy and quality.

  14. Liaise with vendors to align on materials and timelines.

  15. Communication & Collaboration

  16. Present design concepts through impactful visual storytelling.

  17. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate feedback.

  18. Maintain clear design documentation and project updates.

  19. Innovation & Ownership

  20. Drive creativity while balancing practicality and cost-efficiency.

  21. Manage multiple projects with attention to detail and deadlines.
  22. Adapt swiftly to feedback and evolving project scopes.
  23. Take end-to-end ownership of design outcomes.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Industrial Design, Furniture Design, Product Design, or related field.
  • 3+ years of relevant work experience in furniture/product design (preferred).
  • Proficiency in design software and an impressive portfolio demonstrating design skills and execution.
  • Knowledge of production techniques and prototyping methods is a strong plus.
