About the Role:

The Placement Coordinator will be responsible for building strong industry connections, facilitating student placements, and ensuring smooth coordination between students, employers, and the institution. This role requires excellent networking, communication, and organizational skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with corporate partners, HRs, and recruiters.
  • Identify job opportunities and align them with student skill sets.
  • Organize campus drives, job fairs, and recruitment events.
  • Provide career counseling, interview preparation, and resume-building support to students.
  • Track student placement progress and maintain updated records.
  • Coordinate with faculty and training departments to align student skills with market demands.
  • Ensure timely communication between students and employers regarding job opportunities.
  • Prepare placement reports and share regular updates with management.

Required Skills & Competencies:

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to network and establish relationships with corporate recruiters.
  • Knowledge of recruitment trends, job portals, and hiring processes.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Strong organizational and time-management abilities.

Qualification & Experience:

  • Bachelor's/Master's Degree in
    Management, Computer Applications, HR, or related fields
    .
  • 0 –3 years of experience in placement coordination, recruitment, or corporate relations (fresher's with strong networking ability can also apply).
  • Experience in
    career counseling
    or
    student engagement
    will be an added advantage.
