Front Office Associate

Job Summary:
The Front Office Associate is responsible for providing excellent guest service, managing check-in/check-out processes, handling reservations and guest inquiries, and ensuring smooth operations at the front desk. This role serves as the first point of contact for guests and plays a vital part in creating a positive and welcoming experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Guest Services
- Welcome and greet guests in a professional, friendly, and courteous manner.
- Handle guest check-ins and check-outs efficiently, following hotel procedures.
- Assist guests with inquiries, requests, and complaints, ensuring prompt and satisfactory resolution.
- Provide information about hotel facilities, services, and local attractions.
- Reservations and Communication
- Manage room bookings and cancellations via phone, email, and online platforms.
- Update the reservation system with accurate guest information and preferences.
- Coordinate with housekeeping and other departments regarding room status and guest requirements.
- Cashiering and Billing
- Process payments, prepare bills, and handle guest accounts accurately.
- Maintain cash float and balance transactions at the end of the shift.
- Administrative Duties
- Maintain front desk records, logs, and reports as per standard operating procedures.
- Ensure that the reception area is clean, organized, and presentable at all times.
- Follow hotel policies, safety, and security procedures.
- Teamwork
- Coordinate with bell desk, concierge, housekeeping, and maintenance teams.
- Participate in training sessions and staff meetings to improve service quality.
