Job Description – Test Automation Engineer Experience Range 6+ YOE Location Requirement Bangalore – Whitefield [Hybrid – at least 3 days a week] Responsibilities  Develop and maintain automated test scripts for RESTful and SOAP APIs.  Design and implement test frameworks and tools to streamline validation.  Perform functional, integration, regression, and performance testing of APIs.  Work closely with developers, DevOps, and product managers to understand requirements and ensure test coverage.  Analyze test results, identify defects, and log issues in tracking systems.  Contribute to CI/CD pipelines by integrating test suites for continuous validation.  Maintain detailed documentation of test plans, test cases, and results. Soft Skills  Should be able to execute his/her responsibility independently  Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.  Commitment to deliver results  Should be able to raise delivery standards  Should be able to do Dive Deep  Should be able to build trust and show integrity  Collaborate with & external to the team  Should be able to demonstrate ownership Mandatory Skills  Testing Certification (e.g. ISTQB, etc.)  Knowledge of Programming/Scripting: Java, Linux Shell Scripting  Automation Frameworks (Java Based): Cucumber BDD, RestAssured  Test Management & Defect Tracking Tools like JIRA, HP ALM  Understanding of SDLC & STLC including Agile Scrum  CI/CD Tools: Jenkins, GitLab CI, Collaborator Nice-to-have Skills  Performance Testing Tools: JMeter  Data visualization and monitoring tool: Grafana  Database: SQL  Exposure to GEN AI in Test Automation  Experience in security testing  Experience in product development ** Note [Skills Assessment Question Pattern]:  Basic Level Questions – What is it?  Intermediate Level Questions – How does it work?  Advanced Level Questions – Scenario-based
