Role Summary:

As a quality assurance engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the highest quality of software products. Your expertise in software testing methodologies, tools, and processes will enable you to identify and prioritize defects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement test automation frameworks using Perl and Python scripting.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and maintain test automation scripts.
  • Develop clear test documentation, coverage reports, and quality metrics.
  • Work with CI/CD pipelines to automate testing and deployment.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to test automation.

A background in EDA/IP automation and validating EDA tool outputs is beneficial for this position. A minimum of 3-5 years of experience as a test engineer or QA lead in software development teams is required.

Responsibilities may include:

  • Designing and developing test automation scripts.
  • Collaborating with developers to ensure seamless integration of automated testing.
  • Developing and maintaining test automation frameworks.
  • Ensuring high-quality testing and reporting.

The ideal candidate will have strong analytical and problem-solving skills, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment. Strong knowledge of programming languages such as Perl and Python is essential. Experience with CI/CD pipelines and agile methodologies is also beneficial.
