We are looking for an IT Senior Systems Engineer is responsible for the stability, integrity, and efficient operation of an organization's IT infrastructure, including networks, servers, and related systems. They play a leadership role within the IT department by designing system architecture, implementing upgrades, troubleshooting complex issues, and managing projects to ensure optimal performance and security of technology systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Analyze and define system and network requirements in collaboration with management and stakeholders.
  • Design, configure, and deploy IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, and cloud systems.
  • Monitor and maintain system performance, scalability, and security.
  • Provide Tier 3 technical support and resolve escalated system issues.
  • Manage installation, configuration, and administration of systems (Linux, Windows, SAN/NAS, Active Directory, Exchange, etc.).
  • Oversee system upgrades, patches, and security measures.
  • Develop and implement cost-effective technical solutions aligned with business goals.
  • Train, mentor, and guide junior engineers and IT staff.
  • Prepare documentation, network analytics, and reports for management.
  • Stay current with technology trends, protocols, and best practices.
  • Collaborate with executive teams to align IT systems with organizational objectives.
Technical Skills and Qualifications:
  • Extensive experience (usually 5+ years) in systems engineering or related IT roles.
  • Strong knowledge of operating systems like Linux, Windows, UNIX.
  • Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
  • Proficiency in scripting and programming languages (e.g., Python, Ruby, Perl).
  • Deep understanding of networking protocols (TCP/IP, OSI model).
  • Familiarity with database management systems (MySQL, Oracle, SQL Server).
  • Expertise in virtualization and remote access technologies (VMware, Citrix, VPN).
  • Knowledge of security software and practices.
  • Project management and leadership skills.
  • Effective communication and problem-solving abilities.
