About the Role :

We are looking for an experienced and proactive Senior System Engineer to join our growing technical infrastructure team in Jaipur.

The ideal candidate will have strong experience in system administration, server management, network configuration, and IT infrastructure support.

You will play a critical role in maintaining the stability, performance, and security of our IT systems, ensuring optimal uptime and smooth operations for our internal teams and clients.

Key Responsibilities :

- Manage, monitor, and maintain Windows and Linux servers, virtualization platforms, and storage systems.

- Perform system updates, security patches, and performance tuning on a regular basis.

- Manage user accounts, permissions, and access controls in Active Directory and related systems.

- Deploy, configure, and manage network devices including routers, switches, firewalls, and load balancers.

- Implement and monitor backup and disaster recovery solutions to ensure data integrity and business continuity.

- Support and maintain cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, or GCP) including virtual machines, storage, and security configurations.

- Provide Level 2/3 technical support to resolve complex hardware, software, and network issues.

- Perform root cause analysis (RCA) for recurring system incidents and recommend long-term fixes.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth integration and deployment of IT solutions.

- Ensure compliance with company IT policies, cybersecurity standards, and data protection regulations.

- Implement and monitor antivirus, firewall, and endpoint security solutions.

- Conduct periodic system audits and vulnerability assessments.

- Participate in designing and implementing scalable, reliable, and secure IT infrastructure solutions.

- Assist in capacity planning, system architecture design, and technology evaluations.

- Lead infrastructure automation initiatives and adopt DevOps practices where applicable.

- Maintain detailed documentation of system configurations, network diagrams, change logs, and troubleshooting procedures.

- Prepare performance reports and contribute to infrastructure planning documentation.

- Guide junior system administrators and support engineers.

- Work closely with developers, network engineers, and project managers to ensure IT infrastructure aligns with business needs.

Required Skills and Qualifications :

- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

- Minimum of 5 years in systems engineering, administration, or infrastructure management.

Technical Skills :

- Expertise in Windows Server (2016/2019/2022) and Linux (Ubuntu, CentOS, RHEL) environments.

- Strong experience with Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Group Policy, and Exchange / M365 Administration.

- Hands-on experience with virtualization technologies (VMware, Hyper-V, Proxmox).

- Proficiency in network fundamentals, TCP/IP, firewall configuration, and VPN management.

- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud).

- Scripting knowledge (PowerShell, Bash, or Python) for automation and system monitoring.

- Experience with backup solutions (Veeam, Acronis, etc.) and monitoring tools (Nagios, Zabbix, SolarWinds).
