About the Role:

We are seeking a dynamic and strategic
Chief Financial Officer (CFO)
to lead the financial operations across our diversified business verticals, including
FMCG, CG Auto and Hospitality.
The role requires a visionary leader who can drive financial excellence, business growth, and strategic decision-making while ensuring strong governance and compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Financial Leadership:
    Lead the overall financial management and strategic planning across diverse business verticals including FMCG, CG Auto, Hospitality, and Telecom, ensuring alignment with corporate growth and profitability goals.
  • Financial Planning & Control:
    Oversee end-to-end financial operations encompassing budgeting, forecasting, fund flow management, and working capital optimization. Develop and monitor key financial metrics to drive performance accountability.
  • Investment & Capital Management:
    Formulate investment strategies, manage fund-raising initiatives, and evaluate business proposals, mergers, and acquisitions to support sustainable growth and portfolio diversification.
  • Governance & Compliance:
    Ensure adherence to statutory, legal, and regulatory requirements in Bangladesh and across relevant international jurisdictions. Oversee audit processes, tax planning, and corporate governance standards.
  • Process Excellence & Digital Transformation:
    Drive automation and system improvements across finance processes (ERP, reporting, and analytics) to enhance transparency, accuracy, and efficiency in decision-making.
  • Cost Optimization & Profitability:
    Identify cost-control opportunities, streamline financial operations, and establish strategic frameworks to improve margins and resource utilization.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration:
    Partner with business heads, CEOs, and functional leaders to translate financial insights into actionable business strategies. Support strategic initiatives such as market entry, new product launches, and restructuring projects.
  • Leadership & Capability Building:
    Lead and mentor a high-performing finance team across business units, fostering a culture of excellence, integrity, and continuous improvement.

Qualifications:

  • Educational Background

:
Chartered Accountant (CA) / CPA / MBA (Finance) or equivalent qualification.
- Experience:

Minimum
18+ years
of progressive experience in finance, with a proven track record in strategic financial leadership and business transformation.
- Skills:

Strong exposure to
FMCG and diversified business sectors
is essential.
- Proven expertise in strategic financial management, corporate governance, and fund raising.
- Experience working in
Bangladesh or South Asian markets
will be an added advantage.
