Key Responsibilities

  • Financial Management:
  • Maintain accurate financial records, including ledgers, invoices, receipts, and payments.
  • Prepare financial statements and reports on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.
  • Budgeting and Forecasting:
  • Assist in preparing annual budgets and financial projections.
  • Monitor expenses and ensure adherence to the approved budget.
  • Payroll Management:
  • Oversee staff payroll processing, including deductions and statutory compliance.
  • Ensure timely and accurate disbursements.
  • Compliance:
  • Ensure compliance with tax regulations, including GST, TDS, and other statutory requirements.
  • Handle audits and liaise with external auditors when required.
  • Accounts Payable & Receivable:
  • Process vendor invoices and manage payments.
  • Monitor fee collections and reconcile student accounts.
  • Administrative Support:
  • Provide financial data to management for strategic decision-making.
  • Assist in implementing accounting software or system upgrades.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. A professional qualification (CA, CMA, or equivalent) is a plus.
  • Experience: Minimum 6 months to 1 years of accounting experience, preferably in an educational institution.
  • Technical Skills:
  • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Tally, QuickBooks, or similar tools).
  • Advanced knowledge of MS Excel and other financial tools.
  • Soft Skills:
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy.
